Hi my names Dave. I work for my family’s computer consulting company in Canada near Toronto. I have been into computers my whole life. I got my first computer when I was 11 years old. I am now an advanced computer user.
I have experience with all versions on windows including windows server, exchange, IIS, deployment, etc. I also have experience with Linux on the desktop and as a server. I have setup systems for core services like ftp, dhcp, dns, webserver (IIS/Apache), domain controllers, Samba domain controllers. I also have experience with user administration and a background in phone support for residential clients on their home machines.
Because of this my knowledge of virus and spyware removal is above average. I am used to dealing with rootkits, bots, spyware, etc.
I am not boasting. I am currently a Jr Administrator for the family. I would love to just sit in the office and be a systems installer or high level support tech but I can’t. I have to learn the big game of Systems Administration threw work and self learning.
